Summer of ‘09
College fests in Kanpur can easily be counted among the most happening events in the city.
After IIT-K���s Antaragini it was the turn of Kanpur University to host their fest ���Spandan��� in association with Radio Mirchi. Held on the varsity campus, the event turned out to be a rocking affair both for the students as well as the faculty members.
The ramp walk and the ���War of Bands��� were the main attraction.
After a long session of music and dance, it was the turn of glamorous ramp walk. Everyone waited with bated breath for the western outfit round. And as expected it turned out to be a hit with the audience. RJ Garima and RJ Shreya both were seen cheering the participants.
Earlier in the day, many students were seen participating in a wall painting competition. Preeti Singh and Mayank Bhatia group were declared first in that event.
